Home page?
Oct 4 2008, 11:08 PM EDT
Does it make sense to include links to the different "issues" on the homepage, as well as provide links on the pages themselves, instead of assuming a user knows to use the menu on the left? Honestly, whenever I arrive at a wetpaint wiki, I don't think to use the left-hand navigation, I often look for links on the home page.

Hi there - good luck with the project - Marcus Barber from Australia checking in. I'd agree with Mr. SR Spear regarding the links - I'd also like to see links to each topic available in the home page or even the landing page content for each topic. So I'm for increasing the number of ways to enable people to be drawn into the discussion if that was easy to do for whomever are vested with putting the site together. That said, the instructions elements would by default then explain the ways in which people could navigate the site. I am saying this NOT having viewed the 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Thanks, guys! I have added a link to the HOME page to each of the seven key issues. I added a HOME link from each Statement of the Issue page.I would like to have had them in a color other than blue. But I will work on this. Keep sending your suggestions! kay Do you find this valuable? |
